Lynx Lake

Lynx Lake is a popular recreation area in Prescott. The lake is set in the picturesque pine forests and boasts fishing, hiking and a small quaint German Restaurant that is one of our favorites, Lynx Creek Cafe. Boat rentals are available in the summer and bait is available at the small shop next to the cafe. Located off the 69 highway on Walker Road, it is only about 7 miles from the Hotel Vendome.

Antique Row

Do you appreciate things of the past? This town has a designated Antique Row located on N. Cortez St. only two blocks from the Hotel Vendome. Spend afternoons browsing the many unique stores and their merchandise. Great for a girl's weekend!

Sharlot Hall Museum

Sharlot Hall was one of the West's most remarkable women. She began this museum with the mind to preserve historic Pioneer and Native American articles. The museum is a lovely four block walk from the Hotel Vendome. The museum features seven historic buildings, compelling exhibits and beautiful gardens which host several special events and festivals.

Whiskey Row & The Courthouse Square

A Historic District located in downtown Prescott only a half block from the Hotel Vendome. Home to several old saloons and bars, galleries and shops, it is a great place to spend an afternoon strolling and enjoying the old western buildings and the businesses that inhabit them today.

Thumb Butte

The iconic mountain that towers over Prescott is also a great hike for visitors. About 2 miles around and a fairly steep elevation make for a brisk hike and a great view of Prescott and the surrounding forests.
